International round up for Home Nations

England beat Wales 1-0 in what was a thrilling game were two sides really battled it out for victory. England's goal came from Joe Cole but to be fair it did take a big deflection off Wales centre back Danny Gabbidon. During the second half Paul Robinson pulled of an absouloutly wonderful save from a header from John Hartson to keep the side's level. Click here for full match report.

Meanwhile Scotland held Italy to a draw at Hampden Park. The scots took the lead thanks to a goal scored by Wolves striker Kenny Miller. The Italians pegged them back thanks to a goal scored by Fabio Grosso who came off the bench to get a deserved equaliser for Italy. The game finished 1-1 and I think Scotland manager Walter Smith will be pritty happy about that. Great effort Scotland. Click here for full match report.

Northern Ireland battled to earn a deserved 2-0 win over Azerbijan. N. Ireland won thanks to a second half free kick scored by Hull's Stuart Talyor and substitute Warren Feeney's first international goal. This is N.
